UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES

UAS undergraduate students kayak to Lester Island in Glacier Bay to conduct anthropological, geological and archeological fieldwork. As a Biology student you may travel to the Arctic to conduct research on ringed seals. Literature in the Environment students study where John Muir explored. The wilderness that surrounds UAS offers boundless opportunities for recreation, but is also a place where writers and artists find inspiration and everyone can search for solace.

We understand that every student doesn't enter college knowing what he or she will choose as a major. The Student Resource Center helps undeclared students identify their educational goals, and craft plans to reach those goals.
