Getting Started Steps for Transfer Students
Step 1: Apply for admission into your degree program of choice.Step 2: Have ALL academic transcripts from previous colleges or universities sent to UAS for evaluation by the Registrar’s Office.
Step 3: Meet with your academic or faculty advisor. You can do this in person or by phone. If you do not know who your assigned advisor is, call the Student Resource Center at 907.796.6000 or toll free 1.877.465.4827 or visit the advising staff list.
**Working with an advisor is critical for transfer students!** This is the best way to be sure that you get the credit you deserve for previous work and find out all of the particulars of your academic plan.
