Ground Water Rule Workshop
The US Environmental Protection Agency finalized the Ground Water Rule in October 2006. Join us in December to learn about the Ground Water Rule requirements for Alaska’s public water systems. This rule applies to public water systems (Community, Non-Transient Non-Community, or Transient Non-Community water systems) that use a groundwater source. Compliance for public water systems begins December 1, 2009. Many of the rule requirements will be determined by the State. ADEC’s Drinking Water Program staff will present information on the requirements of this rule.
