The University of Alaska Southeast-Juneau facilities are available for use or rent to student clubs, staff and faculty, as well as by nonprofit community, state, federal, or civic groups on a space available basis.

Ensure the success of your event or meeting; make sure to plan ahead for your media, announcement, and catering needs. These steps may also be downloaded as a handy brochure. (229KB)

  1. Check UAS Calendars

    Check the Juneau Campus Calendar to avoid conflicts with other UAS Events.

  2. Reserve a Room

    Call Room Scheduling: (907) 796-6459 or visit the room scheduling website

    For information or to make adjustments to your reservation, email: rooms@uas.alaska.edu.

    Please notify Room Scheduling via email if you find any discrepancies between the Juneau Campus Calendar and the Astra Schedule.

  3. Set up the Room

    Contact Facilities Services for table, chair and other setup needs. Fees may apply.

  4. Arrange Technical & Media Needs

    Contact IT Services for technical assistance or media equipment. Fees may apply.

  5. Arrange Catering

    Contact Campus Dining for any catering needs for the event. Fees are provided on the Lakeside Grill Catering Menu.

  6. Promote Your Event

    Required for all events open to the public.

    1. Submit event information to the UAS Calendar.
    2. Post flyers — flyers on campus must be approved by Activities & Housing.
    3. More PR resources — self-service promotional tools available on the PR website.
