Description

This newly approved course satisfies the USCG and STCW 2012 requirements for ECDIS and provides training in basic theory and use of ECDIS equipment.  Exercises are completed on the UAS Ship Simulator using Southeast Alaska charts, ports and transits.  This course uses the TRANSAS operating program and students will learn basics of that system.
