Adam Benner, Outstanding Student in Business Adminstration
“I am pursuing a four year business administration degree in accounting from UAS. After attaining this degree, I will apply for law school to complete a dual degree program for my J.D./Masters in Accounting. My academic standing at UAS is fundamental in fulfilling this goal.”
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am the owner of a small business - Borealis Bookkeeping Solutions, which provides supplemental income to our family. I have also joined a partnership performing contract work for the U.S. Forest Service. These business pursuits allow me to apply my academic learning, making it both efficient and lasting.
I am grateful for the faculty of UAS and the endless support of friends, family, and God in helping me to achieve my academic and professional pursuits.
UAS' 2013 Juneau Commencement will be held May 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the UAS Recreation Center.
