Brandon Cullum : 2013 MBA Excellence Award
“Without the help of my family this would never have been possible; and without them it would be meaningless.” — Brandon Cullum
When Brandon Cullum first asked his wife Melissa what she thought about him going back to school to get an MBA, she looked around at their newly purchased fixer-upper house, over at her their almost-two year old daughter, and then down at her pregnant belly, thought about her husband’s full time job and their plans for her to stay home with the kids, and said “sure Honey, what else do we have going on?”
In the three years since that conversation Melissa, Isabella, and baby Eleanor have worked tirelessly to keep Brandon afloat and productive as he worked his way through prerequisites and then UAS’s MBA program. As Brandon looks to a new period of life where he can be a full time member of his family again, he wants to dedicate his graduate degree to his wife and kids and thank them for putting up with all the nights and weekends he spent locked in the guest room doing school work.
