Stanton Banachowicz, Outstanding Student in CIOS

Stanton Banachowicz, Outstanding Graduate — CIOS Stanton Banachowicz is a six year veteran of the Information Technology field work in   civilian, military, and local government industries. He was born in Alaska and lived most his life in the state. After spending four years serving in the United States Army as a Radio Operator, Stanton decided to pursue an associate’s degree at Mat-su College in Palmer, AK. After starting college, he moved to Juneau to continue his schooling and attain his degree in Computer Information Office Systems while working for the City and Borough of Juneau as an Information Systems Specialist.

Stanton recently moved back to Wasilla, AK and is currently employed as a Help Desk Technician for Arctic Information Technologies in Anchorage, AK. In his free time he loves playing video games, snowboarding, and enjoying Alaska's wildlife.

UAS' 2013 Juneau Commencement will be held May 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the UAS Recreation Center.

Crystal Rogers is receiving her Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Independent Design, focusing on the art, language, government and history of indigenous and Western societies in Alaska, with a minor in Tlingit.
