Required Courses
The Graduate Certificate program consists of seven 3-credit academic
courses, a one 3-credit clinical practicum, and a 3-credit portfolio
development seminar. Candidates can complete the Graduate Certificate
program in 12 months. Candidates who complete the Graduate Certificate
program can receive an endorsement in special education from the Alaska
Department of Education and Early Development.

EDSE 685 Transition Planning for Secondary Students
EDSE 694 Special Education Practicum
EDSE 695 Special Education Portfolio
