Occupational Endorsement (O.E.)
Child Development Associate (CDA)
This program is designed for students interested in obtaining a CDA and is available to first-time college students. The CDA credential is awarded by the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition in Washington, DC; and is part of the state of Alaska requirements for employment as a director or teacher in licensed child care center.
Program Delivery
The CDA program courses are generally offered via audio conference. All 14 credits required also apply toward the Early Childhood Certificate and the A.A.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education.

- students enrolling in college for the first time or who desire retraining in this fields

- course work covers knowledge and skills necessary for a CDA
