UAOnline

UAS students, staff, and faculty have an account on UAOnline (http://uaonline.alaska.edu). This resource allows you to register for classes, view your academic records, and apply for financial aid among other things. 

Your User ID:

All staff, faculty, and students are issued an 8-digit User ID. If you forget your ID, you can look it up with ELMO. For the best results, choose option 3 and answer the roster of questions to get to your account information. 

Your PIN:

Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a six-character password which was either issued to you at the beginning of your affiliation with the University or which you reset after your first time logging in to UAOnline. 

For new students, employees, and those who requested a PIN reset:

You will have received your PIN in the mail after you were accepted to the University, began working for the University, or requested a reset. You can also obtain your PIN by logging in to ELMO, where this information will be available for 30 days. 

After you login to UAOnline for the first time, or after a reset, you will be prompted to change your PIN. Your new PIN must be six characters and is case sensitive, alphanumeric, and can include spaces and punctuation. You may not use your date of birth. 

If you have forgotten your PIN:

To reset your PIN, enter your User ID and leave the PIN field blank. Then click the Forgot PIN? button. You will then be prompted to answer the security question that you set up the first time you logged in to UAOnline. If you are not prompted with a security question or if you do not answer the question correctly, please contact us for help.

  • Students can contact the Helpdesk for UA Online issues. If you need your PIN reset and we are not available please contact Enrollment Services, the Registrar, or  the Admissions office.
  • UAS employees can contact the Helpdesk or their Human Resources office. UAF and Statewide employees should contact the OIT Support Center.
