About UAS Audio Conferencing

For Students

Telephone conferencing is used for some distance delivered classes. The necessary information, such are dialing details, are provided by the instructor or distance coordinator for their department. Check your class website or contact your instructor for details.

For Staff and Faculty

Audio conferencing is used infrequently for university meetings. Conferencing service is contracted to Two Rivers Conferencing through a UA system-wide contract. A staff or faculty member can procure a conference account which will be used for each conference he/she initiates. If you want to set up a conference account or for more information, please visit the UA OIT Helpdesk Audio Conferencing Site. From there, you can request a meeting account or report problems.

Most academic programs routinely create conferences each semester and should be familiar with the process.

For Campus Employees

Every campus phone number now has an affiliated conference room for collaboration with peers on- and off-campus. This provides a cost-effective solution to meetings and ad-hoc workgroups throughout UA. If interacting with campus users, the tool will provide a no-cost conference with the toll-bypass functionality that exists between many campuses. Please read more about Conferencing Now
Please be advised, this service is not intended as a replacement for course audio conferences. Students and faculty may continue using the toll-free option for coursework.
