At approximately 5:30PM, NDS received a report of wireless and partial VDI outages at the TEC. Further investigation confirmed that most ACS TLS circuit supplied sites were experiencing network connectivity issues. NDS staff worked with OIT network engineering to resolve the issue by 8:30PM.

7:08 pm. Voicemail was left on the IS Emergency Line. All virtual computers in TEC 212 are displaying the message, “could not resolve host name”.

Several virtual build desktops in room WB 102 were displaying an error message on startup at approximately 5:30PM. The problem was a faulty dumb switch and has since been fixed.

Notice posting: http://uas.alaska.edu/pub/hd1 -- Today, at approximately 2:00pm, IT Services personnel, working on power infrastructure with Facilities personnel, briefly lost power to a circuit to a rack of network equipment.
