A brief tutorial on how to navigate and respond to messages within the discussion board.

After you sign in to UASOnline and enter your class site, the discussion board can be accessed through the top navigation bar, or by scrolling down the page until you get to communication tools.

After you sign in to UASOnline and enter your class site, the discussion board can be accessed through the top navigation bar, or by scrolling down the page until you get to communication tools.

Once in the discussion board, a list of topics are presented. Within the topics are threaded discussions. Click on a topic to view all of the messages within it.

Messages can be sorted by author, date and subject.

To view the contents of more than one message, click on “Show Options”

Check the individual messages you want to view, or click select all. After you’re done choosing your messages, click “collect”.

All the messages you chose and their contents are now listed.

To create a new subject, click on “Add New Thread”.

To reply to a message, click on “Reply” from within a message.

From here, enter the title of your post, the body and add an attachment if you’d like.
