This course is designed for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia, who want to learn more about strategies for working effectively with afflicted individuals and their families.
Course topics include an overview of the disease, stages of the disease, communication strategies, nutrition, activities, ethical and cultural issues, and the caregiver's role.
Access to a computer and the internet is required for taking this course.
