MORE INFO
iTeach2 is one-week intensive seminar in the creation and production of distance-delivered courses using the latest in research-based best practices, produced by the UAF Center for Distance Education (CDE) and the UAS Sitka Instructional Design Center (IDC). This seminar will allow you to work in greater depth on aspects of instructional design and course development that are most important to your course.  Focus is on hands-on activities using your materials.

We will tailor the iTeach2 curriculum to participants' interests and needs, as expressed on the application form. All participants will leave with significant parts of their course completed and the knowledge and skills to continue their development using the resources of their local campus, their new community of fellow iTeach2 participants, and CDE and IDC expertise.

  • Creating classroom community and with social software
  • Distributed classroom management and assessment
  • Second Life and virtual learning environments
  • Creating and maintaining one’s own personal learning environment
