Accomplishments and Work in Progress
Overview
Our grant efforts, and those of the Sitka campus, are working toward the same goal; to ensure that our Alaska Native and rural students have equitable access to student support services, advising, tutoring and learning resources. At the end of this grant we will have an online student center that all students can access wherever they are.
Our efforts are also building bridges from short-term training programs to more advanced academic programs, promoting continued professional development for online faculty, and developing a process for faculty to evaluate online courses and teaching.
We are very enthusiastic about the work ahead of us!
