Taking home the $1,000 1st Place prize was Team Secure Safe (Laura Achee and Luke Fanning from Juneau, Karl Heinz from Haines, and Dustin Hofeling from Ketchikan).

After the student’s presentations, they were grilled by three judges representing Alaska’s angel investment community: Allan Johnston and Mike Haines from The Entrepreneurs and Mentors Network (TEAM) and Al Hermann from University of Alaska’s Center for Economic Development.
Taking home the $500 2nd Place prize was Team e-Me (Anchorage’s Barbara Dey, Alaina Hill, and Annette Morrow).
