UAS Stay on Track Tuition Break Gets Results

At last count UAS had about 150 students at the 15-credit level

An incentive for currently enrolled students to take at least 15 credits is getting results. The Financial Aid office is offering a $500 tuition credit as part of the Stay on Track program. The priority and goal is to retain student numbers. The incentive is offered for students to increase credits from 12 to 15 a semester. The incentives are for sophomores, juniors and seniors.  At last count UAS had about 150 students at the 15-credit level, with room for about 100 more. A recent calling campaign contacted 150+ students who were between 12-14 credits, and told them about the scholarship. Thirty-six of those students increased their enrollment to take advantage of the scholarship within a two week period. The initiative is unique to the UAS campus.
