Ohler honored for Lifetime Achievement

At UAS Ohler was the Director and creator of the Masters in Educational Technology program for 20 years.

The Alaska Society for Technology in Education (ASTE) recently awarded UAS Professor Emeritus Educational Technology Jason Ohler a Life Time Achievement Award at its annual conference. He was attending the conference and curating an Augmented Reality art (ARt) gallery. At UAS Ohler was the Director and creator of the Masters in Educational Technology program for 20 years before becoming the President's Professor of Educational Technology and Distance Learning for 5 years. He earned his Ph.D. in Communication from Simon Fraser University, and he holds an Alaska State Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education.
