Deadlines are fast approaching; UAS recommends that you file your FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid) by February 15, 2021 to be considered for all UAS Scholarships. Apply for all UAS scholarships with a single application! Contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

University of Alaska Southeast and Sealaska is offering a scholarship for any students who want to take an Alaska Native Language course (Tlingit, Haida or Tsimshian) during the Spring 2021 semester. (Exception: Students who have tuition paid for by another organization are ineligible for this scholarship.)

Around Christmas, there were reports of an earthquake and major mountain rockslide in the wilderness near Juneau. But what came first: The earthquake or the slide?
