Brian Czech will present Good Growing Gone Bad: Uneconomic Growth, Environmental Protection, and National Security in the UAS Egan Lecture Hall on Mon., April 16 at 7 pm. The Lecture is free and open to the public.

Czech is President of the Center for the Advancement of a Steady State Economy and author of Shoveling Fuel for a Runaway TrainErrant Economists, Shameful Spenders, and a Plan to Stop them All.  CASSE’s basic assumption is that economic growth has become a primary threat to our national security, the environment, and future generations. CASSE proposes the establishment of a steady state economy with stabilized population and per capita consumption.
