Covid-19 Office Operations

Due to social distancing measures recommended by the CDC and implemented by UA President Jim Johnsen, the UAS Student Activities Board cancelled or postponed all Spring 2020 events.

Fishing for Good

This group aims to impact the vulnerable in Juneau for good through volunteer-ship, introduce UAS students to non-profit & outdoor adventure industry leaders, & to relevant leadership experience & job leads for UAS students

Gaming Club

Gaming club provides the community of gamers and introverts of UAS with a place to meet up and the opportunity to make new friends while gaming.

Auke Bay Film Society

Students will learn more about film theory and how to critically examine films for deeper meanings. Additionally, we will learn the necessary skills to make our own short films. We will sit back, relax, and have a good time watching movies with like-minded peers.

UAS Math Club

Our purpose is to show mathematics outside of the classroom. This includes looking at fun facts, presentations, or challenge problems from journals. All students welcome no matter what level they are in.

Zumba Club

Zumba Club will provide an outlet for students to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. We will motivate students to try Zumba Fitness and join the dance party by having fun. Most of all, Zumba club will provide a safe and fun environment to encourage students to be themselves and have fun while dancing. *We will allow students to come 15 minutes early to get help with basic Zumba steps.

Opt Outdoors Club

Providing a space for those of any level and skill-set who are curious, open-minded, and seeking a way to learn more and experience what the outdoors has to offer.

UAS Society for Human Resource Management Club

The Society for Human Resource Management Club's goal is to connect students in the BBA HR emphasis with each other and professionals in the field. Activities will include virtual webinars for professional development, social media awareness campaigns, and networking opportunities.

SEA- P.A. Club of UAS (SE Alaskan Prospective Accountants)

The Accounting Club provides a forum for students to meet informally with accounting faculty and professionals working for the government and business. The purpose of the club is to connect local and online students with accounting professionals.

Spanish Club

We will speak Spanish in order to extend our vocabulary. We will be learning and practicing Spanish in a fun and informative environment. We will promote Spanish language on campus.

Radio UAS

Radio UAS aims to share student perspectives with the Juneau community. We will give students interested in radio an opportunity to engage with it in an hour of airtime on a KTOO station.

Veterans and Family Student Association

The UAS Veterans and Family Student Association's purpose is to connect students who are Veterans or dependents of Veterans to other students as well as staff/faculty members. Professional development sessions will be offered throughout the year that will cover topics relevant to Veterans and Veteran dependents.

Without Borders

An all inclusive Jesus lovin' club with the goal of providing a positive, spiritually open environment for students no matter their background. We exist to encourage students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! During open hours there are some chill coffee study hours and general hanging out. Once monthly we throw a larger event, with lots of food, crazy games, and break-out discussions about current hot topics in the world.

As a leadership club, Wooch.een works closely with the University of Alaska Southeast and community organizations to foster a better understanding of our states' wonderful tribes and promotes an awareness of our state's cultural and social issues.

The Mosaic Campus Ministry is a student organization affiliated with the Tongass Baptist Association, the Alaska Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board to minister to college students at the University of Alaska, Southeast. It's primary objective is to Help Students Know Christ - We achieve this by REACHING students for Christ, CONNECTING them to like minded believers and to the local church, STRENGTHENING their faith walk and teaching them how to live a MISSIONAL lifestyle. The Mosaic Campus Ministry is about helping students achieve excellence in all parts of their lives and enabling them to be a more vital part in the their churches and community.
