Campus Kickoff 2022

The Office of Student Engagement & Leadership is excited to welcome students back to campus with our annual Campus Kickoff on Friday, September 2 from 3 - 5 p.m. This event hosts more than 50 booths ranging from student clubs, campus partners, community organizations, nonprofits, and more! With more than 300 attendees, the Campus Kickoff is the perfect opportunity to get involved, connect with on/off-campus partners, find a job, join a club, and of course, all the freebies. We can’t wait to welcome you to campus!

If you're interested in welcoming students back to campus, please make sure to register no later than August 19. If you have any questions, please read below and connect with us via email or phone.

Looking for more info?

Are you a local business or nonprofit organization? Are you interested in talking to brand new Juneau residents who have yet to explore? Register by August 19 to be able to meet our incoming student population and talk about your business or nonprofit organization!

What's included:

  • Each registered group will be allotted a 10'x10' space at the event. Please make a special request on the registration form if you feel your group needs more room than this. We will do our best to accommodate.
  • Please supply your own table, chairs, and tent.
  • No table skirts will be provided.

FYI:

  • Two representatives are required to attend and no table should be left unattended at any point during the event.
  • Placement options at the event will be given in order of priority.
  • A placement map will be emailed to each group, at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
  • If you plan to give out coupons or samples please be aware that we expect over 300 participants in attendance.

Looking to provide information to students about your club and/or department on campus? Register by August 19 to ensure your group receives a space.

What's included:

  • Tents will be provided based on availability.

If you're interested in supporting Campus Kickoff but can't attend in person, let us know how to include you! We have opportunities to promote your business to students throughout the event whether it's coupons, giveaways, or a business card with more information. UAS students can win an exlusive campus kickoff t-shirt just by participating in the event! Simply show up on Friday, September 2 and check in with the SAB booth. Our student leaders will provide you with more info on how to maximize your time at the kickoff.

*The first 100 students to turn in their Campus Kickoff Bingo Card will receive an exclusive campus kickoff t-shirt.
