Marina Utilities Water and Sanitary Sewer

Learn the operation and maintenance of marina sanitary sewer systems and the complexities of providing clean and safe water service for ports and harbor customers. Clean drinking water, facilities to pump out sewage holding tanks, and fire protection are very important services that marinas provide. This course provides in depth background to help understand water and sewer systems. It covers the layout of these systems, best practices for operation and maintenance of them, and the regulations for each. Upon completion, employees will be equipped to provide marina users information they need to help preserve and protect harbor water quality. Content highlights ways to know what the competition is doing and methods to stay abreast of industry standards.Course is self-paced, but must be completed within 60 days of registration.
