Get a jump start towards earning your college degree

The University of Alaska Southeast offers well-prepared high school and home school students the opportunity to enroll in college-level courses. Dual enrollment students can continue on toward earning their degree at UAS or other qualifying universities.

Is Dual Enrollment right for me?

Students should be prepared for college-level study.

Dual Enrollment students are enrolled in actual college classes, taught by university professors and instructors.

Grades earned in college classes are on a student’s permanent record.

Grades earned as a Dual Enrollment student will be part of their college transcript.

Standard UAS class tuition and fees apply to Dual Enrollment students.

Dual Enrollment students pay the same tuition and fees as college students. There are scholarships available to Dual Enrollment students.

Career and Technical Education Pathways

Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses offered by UAS with participating high schools. CTE college-level courses are taught by approved high school instructors. Contact the School of Career Education for more information.

Advisors & Student Support

UAS academic advisors in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka are available to assist students and parents with information about dual enrollment policies and registering for classes. Dual Enrollment students receive most student support services, including access to UAS tutoring centers.
