UAS has classrooms with equipment and support for video conferencing, livestreaming, lecture capture, film screening, and podcasting.

Room Scheduling

The room scheduling tool is available to UAS faculty to choose rooms for events. You can also use this tool to see a list of what equipment each room has.

To view details about the schedule, select "calendars" in the upper left, and then go to "scheduling grids"

Once you are in the scheduling grids view, you can now see room details by hovering your mouse over the small gray dot next to the room name and number.

Hybrid Classrooms

There are currently four rooms in the Egan building that are well-suited to teaching a course and broadcasting your lecture and/or discussions via Zoom or other online medium synchronously or asynchronously. CELT currently recommends Egan 108, 114, 115, or 220 for your hybrid classes.

It is a good idea to test your laptop with the equipment before your first class. Equipment generally will use USB-A or HDMI ports. If your laptop does not have one of those, and you do not have an adaptor, contact the helpdesk and/or classroom support in advance to get support.

If all four rooms with pre-built audio/visual support technology are taken, contact the helpdesk to arrange for portable cameras to be brought in. Video tutorials are available at the bottom of this page.
