Cancelled: Tonight’s Sound and Motion Presentation

The University of Alaska Southeast is sorry to announce the cancellation of tonight’s presentation by researcher Jim Darling on whale songs. Unfortunately Mr. Darling is unable to arrive in Juneau due to backed up flights after Thursday’s winter storm that cancelled flights throughout the Northwest.

The University of Alaska Southeast is sorry to announce the cancellation of tonight’s presentation by researcher Jim Darling on whale songs. Unfortunately Mr. Darling is unable to arrive in Juneau due to backed up flights after Thursday’s winter storm that cancelled flights throughout the Northwest.

Dr. Jim Darling was to present his research into humpback whale songs—including their structure and composition, similarities and differences across the North Pacific, and what it all might mean. “We look forward to hosting Dr. Darling for a presentation at a future date,” said UAS Chancellor John Pugh.
