Nov 2 Evening at Egan lecture with Ernestine Hayes, "What shall we do with our histories?”
Speaker Ernestine Hayes notes, "My talk asks listeners to consider history from a perspective that is unfamiliar and perhaps even somewhat uncomfortable. When we place ourselves in new contexts, our views may shift. When we look at history from a different point of view, we can also look at the present--and the future--with new understanding."
