UAS Designated as 2022-2023 Military Friendly School Gold Status

To receive the Gold distinction, selected schools are within 10% of 10th-ranked organizations.

University of Alaska Southeast announced today that it has earned the 2022-2023 Military Friendly® School designation Gold award status.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey.

Military Friendly Schools® measure an institution’s ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer) and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans. To receive the Gold distinction, selected schools are within 10% of 10th-ranked organizations.

Military Friendly® Schools strive towards and succeed in the areas that matter most in helping veterans make the transition from the military to school and, ultimately, satisfying careers in the civilian world.
