UAS to host open house on Juneau Campus, Oct. 25

Community members and prospective students are invited to explore the Juneau Campus.

The University of Alaska Southeast invites community members and prospective students to explore the Juneau Campus during an open house on Saturday, Oct. 25, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The event features a choose-your-own-adventure format, with activities taking place throughout campus, including a scholarship fair, academic program demonstrations, and opportunities to ask questions about admissions and financial aid.

"If you are curious about exploring all that UAS has to offer, this is an amazing opportunity to meet professors, tour our state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, and experience demonstrations of the kinds of projects you might work on as a student," said Lori Klein, vice chancellor of enrollment management and student affairs.

One lucky attendee will not only find out how to pay for college–they will win a tuition waiver through a free raffle. Additional prizes will include UAS-branded merchandise.

“We are looking forward to formally welcoming the community to UAS through this open house," added Klein. "This is a great opportunity to see our beautiful campus, get help applying to a degree program, or learn how to sign up for a class as a community member. We are excited to meet you!"
