UAS Math Club
The UAS Math Club is open to all UAS students and Juneau Area community members.
UAS Math Club
Any UAS student is welcome to join the UAS Math Club. The faculty adviser of the Math Club (and the Alaska Alpha Chapter of PME) is Andrzej Piotrowski. UAS students or faculty interested in giving a talk at one of the frequent Math Club meetings are always appreciated, and community members wishing to present talks, or attend any such talk are also very welcome.
Math Club Meeting
When: Every first and third Friday during regular semesters at 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
Where: Juneau Campus Learning Center.
What: These meetings may involve:
- Math related talks by students, faculty, or community members;
- Interesting math related problem solving sessions; or
- Math related movies.
