Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment presents a head start opportunity for high school students looking to start their post-secondary education. Dual Enrollment connects career and technical education at a high school with continued training at the college level.

Many students earn college credits every year while in high school. After graduation they continue in their field of study at UAS or they enter the workforce, confident in the skills and knowledge they acquired in the program.

Dual Enrollment at UAS has an enormous potential to successfully prepare students throughout Southeast Alaska for high quality, high paying careers by ensuring students can access and afford training and coursework to obtain certifications, endorsements, and post-secondary degrees.
