How to Register:

All organizations must Register on Handshake - registration opens on December 12, 2023 @ 8:00 a.m. Space is limited.

Does your organization have a Handshake profile, but you or another representative don't yet have accounts associated with it?  

  • Connect to Handshake through our University of Alaska Handshake link
  • Create a contact account for yourself as an employer. Within this brief process, you will be asked to join a company. Find yours, and request to join. Your organization's Handshake profile owner/admin will need to approve you as an employee.

How to post a job in Handshake

Payment Procedures: 

Cost:  $100  - includes marketing, 1 table (5 or 6 foot), 2 chairs, and refreshments (light snacks and coffee/water/beverages)

  1. Credit card payments can be made through Handshake. Please submit payment through the payment link on your downloadable invoice. 
  2. Registration payment is due by February 27, 2024 at 5 p.m. AKT.Payments received after this deadline will be assessed a $50 late fee.
  3. While credit card payments are preferred, if payment is to be made by check, please use the following procedure to ensure your check arrives and is posted for your payment: 
  4. Please notify us ahead of time via email that the payment-by-check option is being utilized. Please contact Aimée Richards at amrichards4@alaska.edu.
  5. Checks must be made out to "University of Alaska Southeast" only. Please ensure no other person's name is included in that payee line.
    1. Envelopes should have the following Mailing address:
  • Office of the Bursar & Student Accounts

  • Mailstop: NOV3

6. Cash payments will be accepted on the day of the career fair. Directions to the UAS Bursar & Student Accounts office are linked below.

Refund Policy:

We hope that an organization will not cancel, but in the event that an organization chooses to withdraw completely from the fair, the following refund schedule will apply. 

  • Notification received via email before February 20, 2024, at 5 pm AKT:  a full refund will be honored.
  • Notification received via email after February 20, 2024, at 5 pm AKT:  registration fee will be applied to a future UAS Career Fair.
  • No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

If the University of Alaska Southeast cancels or reschedules this event, organizations that have already paid will have the following options, and should communicate their choice via email: a) Full refund, b) Application of fee to a future UAS Career Fair.
