UA and UAS policy and guidance on LLMs and generative AI

A great place to begin is with the University of Alaska systemwide AI resource hub, which includes institutional guidance, ethical considerations, and UA-specific updates.

Next, we encourage you to check out CELT's own guidance on integrating AI into your syllabi, including sample language for setting expectations. Having a syllabus policy is an important step toward your students' understanding of your policies! 

If you are looking for ideas about how to use AI to help in your work, one simple but powerful starting point is using AI to generate multiple drafts or variations of assignment prompts. This will help you understand what AI can and cannot do.
