Housing and Accommodations

On-Campus Housing

We have reserved 48 beds in on-campus housing in nearby John Pugh Hall for the nights of July 21-26. The rooms have two bedrooms, each with two single beds, a shared bathroom, and a refrigerator. There is also a community kitchen available. The rate is $100/night for single occupancy and $50/night for double occupancy. This rate includes breakfast catered from Breeze In.

Check back here on Jan 1 to apply for on-campus housing.

Other Lodging

Lodging in Juneau can be expensive and difficult to get during the summer, so we encourage you to make reservations early. You are responsible for making your own reservations.

Food and Meals

Breakfast is provided for attendees who purchase on-campus housing. It will not be available for attendees who choose to lodge elsewhere. Lunch will provided each day and is included in the registration cost. Dinner is not included except at the banquet on Saturday, July 26 at the Noyes Pavilion.

Local Transportation

We have arranged a shuttle bus to take participants from the university to downtown Juneau on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. The bus will leave the university at 5:15 pm and return from "Marine Park" at 8:30 pm. It will do two runs if there is not enough space for everybody.

The university is also accesible by public transportation as well taxi/Uber/Lyft. Regrettably, the express bus between downtown and the university has been temporarily suspended due to a shortage of drivers.
