Biography

Abi serves as Chief of Staff at the University of Alaska Southeast, where she acts as principal advisor to the Chancellor and leads strategic initiatives across the university. Prior to this role, she served as Executive Assistant to the Chancellor, providing support and coordination for the Chancellor’s university-wide priorities. 

Before joining UAS, Abi established herself as a dynamic organizational leader, serving as General Manager of Cycle Alaska, where she led a large team, a business expansion and achieved multiple national industry recognitions. Her diverse experience includes international marketing for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, where she managed a multi-million-dollar budget across Asian markets.

Abi recently completed her Master of Business Administration from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, building on her bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Cultural Studies and a minor in International Business from Western Washington University. Her approach to her career and life is guided by her core values of inclusion, time, community, and wellbeing. Abi resides in Juneau, Alaska, with her wife, Julia, and their beloved dog Annabelle.
