Graduated from UAS with a BLA in Alaska Native Languages and Studies. Went on to complete a Masters in Nua-Ghaeilge, the Irish language, at Maynooth University in Ireland.

Biography

Claire was born and raised in Seattle and moved to Juneau in 2017. She previously worked as a Curriculum Specialist and substitute teacher at the Haa Yoo X'atángi Kúdi Lingít immersion preschool. She loves language and is fluent in the Irish language. She now workes in the School of Education to support Dean Lunda as the department moves through a time of expansion.
