Damian Medina

As the Dean of Students, he will oversee the areas of Residence Life & Dining, the Recreation Center, Counseling, the Health Clinic, Disability Services, the Native & Rural Student Center, Student Activities, Student Conduct and more. Prior to joining UAS, Dean Medina has supported, advocated, and empowered students for 18+ years across USA and the world in progressively responsible administrative roles and several times as an adjunct professor. He has worked across the USA in Texas, Florida, New York, Maine and most recently Colorado. In addition, he worked for over a decade internationally in Kuwait, Switzerland, Qatar and China.

During his free time, Dean Medina enjoys, to name a few activities, hiking, bicycling, boardgames, movies, and spending time with friends! Dean Medina is excited to join the UAS community and looks forward to partnering with others to empower our students to lead purposeful lives!
