Ramona Broussard joined the University of Alaska Southeast in May 2023 as an Instructional Designer. She brings over a decade of experience in education, having worked as a reading teacher, public librarian, digital archivist and museum assistant, reading teacher, and higher education instructor in information and interaction design. With a Master’s degree in Information Studies, Ramona focuses on designing engaging, student-centered courses that blend technology with effective pedagogy. At UAS, she supports faculty in creating accessible, inclusive learning environments and is especially interested in innovative evidence-based approaches to grading and assessment for adult learners.

Faculty and staff are welcome to reach out to Ramona with questions about educational technology, such as Blackboard course design, captioning and accessibility tools, video platforms like ScreenPal, and strategies for making the most of UAS-supported apps and services.
