Housing Over Breaks

Fall Break

Student Housing does not close during the weekend of Thanksgiving, and residents do not need to inform Housing if they are planning to travel during this time. Both the Lodge desk and John Pugh Hall front desk will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will resume normal hours for the rest of the break. No resident will be asked to move for consolidation purposes.

Winter Break

Student Housing is closed during Winter Break. Students are not approved to stay during this time unless they submitt a Winter Break application by December 1st and pay a $500 fee. Main Housing Complex residents that are approved to stay for the break will not be asked to move. John Pugh Hall residents that are approved to stay will be moved to Banfield Hall to for consolidation purposes. 

Spring Break

Student Housing does not close during Spring Break and students do not need to inform Housing if they are planning to travel during this time. The Lodge desk and John Pugh Hall desk will maintain normal hours of operation for the duration of the break. No resident will be asked to move for consolidation purposes.

Summer

Student Housing is closed for the academic year during Summer. Students must fill out a Summer Housing agreement and will be charged a normal semester amount, with the exclusion of a meal plan fee, if they plan to stay over the summer, otherwise they must move out at the end of the semester.
