Campus Kickoff - First Friday of Fall Semester
Campus Kickoff welcomes our returning & new students back to campus with more than 30 booths ranging from student clubs, campus partners, community organizations, nonprofits, and more! With more than 300 attendees, the Campus Kickoff is the perfect opportunity to get involved, connect with on/off-campus partners, find a job, join a club, and of course, all the freebies.
Community Feast - November
Community Feast brings together our students, faculty, staff and community of Juneau to gather in place as we immerse ourselves in the Alaska Native Traditions while enjoying a meal together. The Native and Rural Student Center, in collaboration with various community and UAS organizations, facilitates a wonderful day of celebration on the Juneau Campus! From listening to our community Elders, enjoying harvested foods at the Try Station, and learning Native Dancing, there is something for everyone at this beloved and highly respected event.
WinterFest - February
Each February, students and Juneau community members take the annual Polar Plunge as we raise funds for local causes. Join us for a day full of adventure with a bonfire, hot tubs, live music, skating, and more winter festivities!Spring Carnival - April
Jump into spring with fun-filled games and opportunities to win prizes at the UAS Spring Carnival! Enjoy live performances, free food, and the famous dunk tank!
