SAB Programs & Opportunities

The Student Activities Board (SAB) consists of student leaders who work together to provide a variety of high quality programming to the UAS campus body. These range from traditions and signature events, residential programming, exploring Juneau, and several other opportunities that make the campus experience unforgettable.

SAB Programs:

  • UAS Nights: UAS Nights connect students to Juneau. Past events and programs include free nights at Perseverance Theatre, providing transportation to the Juneau Gallery Walk and Alaska Folk Fest, and more!

  • The Alaska Airlines Student Concert Series at UAS: A free and open performing arts series to UAS students and Juneau community, this program features a high level of student-driven programming and leadership. Past events include Maggie Rogers, Von Grey, UAS Drag Show featuring Spikey Van Dykey, A Murder Mystery Party, MK Paulsen Comedy Show, Chris Jones Hypnotist Show, Pamyua, and more.

  • Special Events: Building relationships for a lifetime. Past events include: dances, craft nights, open mic, Karaoke night, Headshots for Handshake and more.

  • UAS Engage: UAS Engage connects students to service opportunities throughout UAS and Juneau. Past events and partnerships include UAS Day of Service, United Way Day of Caring, Trail Mix Inc., and more.
