UAS Day of Service
What is Day of Service?
Each April, UAS student leaders connect students, faculty, staff, and Juneau community to service projects throughout the capital city of Alaska. This single day of service provides volunteers with meaningful service opportunities where they can choose from a variety of projects that match their interests in addition to learning about the great work being done in our capital city.Pick Your Project

The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council strives to spotlight and support local and regional artists. The Gallery space at JACC serves as a platform for artists to showcase their work to a broad audience of Southeast Alaskans and visitors alike. By volunteering for this project, you will help ensure the critically important shelter remains open and help those in need for years to come.

For this year’s Day of Service, SAIL is in need of volunteers to help move objects to support their Loan Closet program, which stocks durable medical equipment and technology for those who need it.
Summer is just around the corner, and while Juneau looks forward to warmer months and longer days, winter recreation is heading into hibernation. Eaglecrest Ski Area is in need of some helping hands to close their facility, clean their cabins, and clear the ski trails for the summer.
