Student Activities Board

The Student Activities Board (SAB) is a student-run group through the Student Activities office that creates events to give students the opportunity to meet new people, make meaningful connections, learn something new and have fun!

Any UAS student can join SAB! Join us at our weekly SAB meetings on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. Sept. 2nd through Nov. 25th.

Add us on Facebook @UASSAB or search 'UAS Student Activities Board'

SAB works to provide a variety of high quality, engaging, and entertaining events reflective of the diverse needs and interests of our student body. SAB works collaboratively to promote community engagement and student learning through social, educational, cultural and recreational programming while honoring campus traditions and complementing the academic mission of the university.

Come to an event, like us on Facebook, Follow us on Instagram, join us at a meeting, or drop by the Student Engagement and Leadership's team's office hours. No matter how you choose to connect, we're excited to meet you! Our fall 2020 meetings are held via Zoom on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.

No, not all events will be virtual. Carmen Soto, Social Media Coordinator for SAB, will host Auke Walks every other week around Auke Lake. Join her on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. Be sure to bring your mask and stay atleast 10 feet apart.

Also, we're looking into alternative event ideas, like Drive-in Movies and other distanced events.

Cool! We're always looking for exciting new ideas. Email us with your suggestion and we'll vote on it during our SAB meeting. We host a special SAB meeting once a semester to vote on potential acts. Make sure to come to those meetings to see what other UAS students want on campus.

Start by coming to one of our SAB meetings! We'll always have the most up to date information there. Even with the Pandemic, we'll still have fun tasks that need doing - like counting random items - like rubber ducks, or reviewing potential acts.
