Fall in Alaska: The season that teaches stillness
In Juneau, I wear many hats. In winter, I work ski patrol. In summer, I guide. Year-round, I freelance as a writer and photographer. I teach outdoor studies classes at the University of Alaska Southeast. I work part-time for Rivers Without Borders — a nonprofit focused on transboundary mining issues. I juggle my relationship, family and friends alongside snowboarding, hiking, climbing, surfing, biking, running and camping. I sprint from one thing to the next.
