UAS Tidal Echoes 2020 to Launch Virtually, April 5

The University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) publication Tidal Echoes 2020 will have a virtual launch this year. During the week of April 5-12, videos will be posted from editors Callie Ziegler and Erika Bergen, featured artist Pat Race, and featured writer Maureen Longworth. Information will be shared on where to purchase Tidal Echoes 2020. The event can be accessed on the UAS or Tidal Echoes Facebook pages under “events.”

“We wish we could be in-person to celebrate everyone’s hard work and creations but we look forward to engaging with the community online,” noted student editor Callie Ziegler.

Tidal Echoes submissions come from writers and artists from Juneau, Sitka, and Ketchikan. The journal accepts submissions of prose, including fiction, non-fiction, transcribed oral stories, memoir, drama, and poetry of all types. In addition to writing, artwork of all mediums is accepted digitally, which allows the journal to include sculpture, painting, ceramics, photography and drawing.
