Biography

When not juggling work, kids, poems, and 100 year old houses, Jonas enjoys skiing, softball, hockey, hiking, kayaking and turning up the volume. His research and creative interests include contemporary American poetry, Ancient Chinese and Japanese poetry in translation, open education, teaching with Wikipedia, internet culture and digital humanities. His debut poetry collection, What Turtle Blood Tastes Like will be published by Finishing Line Press in September 2025.
