Biography

When not juggling work, teenage sons, poems, and his 110 year old house, Jonas enjoys trail running, skiing, softball, hockey, hiking, kayaking and volunteering as a DJ on KRNN. His research and creative interests include contemporary American poetry, Ancient Chinese and Japanese poetry in translation, open education, teaching with Wikipedia, internet culture and digital humanities. His debut poetry collection, What Turtle Blood Tastes Like  (Finishing Line Press) was published in 2025.
