Lori A. Klein, M.S.

Lori was born and raised in Wisconsin and is a first generation college student. She moved to Alaska for a summer internship in 1996, fell in love with UAS, Juneau, and her husband Dave (in that order). What should have been a three month visit has spanned almost three decades of love for this place and its people. In addition to her more than 20 years at UAS, Lori worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska and the Association of Alaska School Boards. She has served as Auke Bay Elementary site council president, board president for the Juneau Jumpers, Big Sister for 13 years, and board secretary for the Friends of the Juneau Public Library. 

Lori has held nine different positions at UAS including academic advisor, registrar, Title IX coordinator, and adjunct faculty. She has served as Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs since June 2019. She loves the UAS community, engaging with students and working collaboratively with faculty and staff across our three campuses.
