Overview
Student accounts are set to expire eight weeks after the last day of your courses with UAS. If you have not yet registered for the next semester, you'll want to review the following checklist to be sure everything is for your technology resources:
- If you are continuing with school, register now at UAOnline!
- If you are still working on this semester's coursework (incomplete, etc), talk with your instructor or academic advisor to prevent any activity lapses.
- If you are done with school, register for an alumni account to keep your UAS account active.
When you join the UAS Alumni & Friends Association, membership benefits include a free UAS Alumni email account. If you have a current UAS account, your access can continue with your UA Username. In the membership form, just be sure to check the 'Yes! Please set up my UASAA email account' box.
If your username has been inactive for an extended period (longer than one month) your previously stored email messages may have been cleared, so be sure to sign up today!
UASHome
You will want to clear out your UASHome space before leaving. You can either use a campus computer or connect through a browser to access material to another location (home computer, external hard drive, etc). You can find more information on the UASHome page about connecting from anywhere.
ePortfolio Access
Material that you have saved on your portfolio system will be available indefinitely. To retain access, you will need to join the UAS Alumni & Friends Association to continue using your present username.
The address to access your student portfolio is: http://uas.alaska.edu/online/portfolio/username
(replace "username" with your username).
